Tahoe Truckee Volunteer Connection

We facilitate innovative volunteerism, support our non-profit organizations, and encourage volunteer service as a priority in the lives of all members of our community. The Volunteer Connection will assist non-profit organizations with training on effective recruitment and retainment methods, and will provide opportunities to tap into our current resources and to those new to our area. For potential volunteers, the Volunteer Connection will provide resources for volunteer opportunities and workshops to enhance individual contributions either as "worker-bees" or as Board members. We have a working relationship with VolunteerMatch.com, a website that connects potential volunteers with projects that need help. The Volunteer Connection is encouraging all local non-profits to sign up for either on-going or one-time needs. Potential volunteers are able to register and investigate volunteer opportunities by zip code.
