Placer Adult Literacy Services

Volunteer reading coaches work with English-speaking adults who want to improve their reading. PALS was established in 1985 as a FREE program of the Placer County Library. Learners are assessed, then matched one-on-one with a reading coach. Reading coach and learner meet at a time and place convenient to both. Meetings are held 1 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday of the month at various Placer County locations.
