Washoe County Divison of Welfare and Support Services

The mission of the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services is to provide quality, timely and temporary services enabling Nevada families, the disabled and elderly to achieve their highest levels of self-sufficiency. Programs include Child Support Enforcement, Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT/Food Stamps, Cash Aid,) and TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families,) and Energy Assistance.
